Established in 1975 by Mr. Jose Gonzalez Sr. along with his son Jose Gonzalez Jr. and wife Alma Gonzalez, El Jardin is a historic Houston landmark that has been around for more than forty years and till this day it’s still family owned and operated. Our dishes are made with traditional recipes passed on from Alma’ s mother, Maria Jasso.
El Jardin has been able to keep its motto "Made with love and tradition" since 1975. Part of a successful story is being present and finding innovative creations that keep your traditional dishes alive just bolder.
